CVL’s team has successfully delivered many significant Sino-European turnkey projects in a variety of industry sectors. Here are some exmaples:

• A turnkey transfer of a 2.0L engine manufacturing line from Ford Germany to one of the major chinese automotive manufacturers

• A turnkey transfer of TM heavy duty truck production facility to China and provided continued product engineering support and also managed the parts export to the UK.

• A turnkey transfer of a UK Engineering Development Centre to one of the major test centres in China

• A turnkey transfer of the complete manufacturing facilities for Renault 50, 1.5 to 7.5 ton Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) including a paintshop. CVL continued to support the development of a 4x4 version of the vehicle.

• A turnkey transfer of Rover Montego and Maestro range of passenger car production facilities to Qingdao China and provided both management and engineering support for the products re-launch.

• Adviser/partner for the majority share acquisition of Johnson Security Ltd, a family run business with a long history, strong brand identity and 85% of the UK CIT market share. CVL provided interim management for the first three years and increased sales revenue from £9miilion to £16million and turned a £1million loss to £0.5 million profit.

• Key adviser for Nanjing Automotive Corporation’s acquisition of MG Rover from Administration and also provided interim specialist consultants to enable the business to be restructured after the acquisition.

• Acquired LDV, a historic UK Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) manufacturer, from administration and formed a partnership with SAIC. Completed the consolidation and transferred IPR and major production facilities to China. Eco Concept Ltd was formed to continue the UK and Europe dsitribution.
